A New Era of Support for Neurodivergent Families and Children
The Wild Ways offers a bold, heart-led approach to supporting neurodivergent children and families across the UK and beyond.

United under one vision
Whether through family advocacy, specialist tutoring and mentoring, or groundbreaking work in Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), The Wild Ways is here to reimagine what’s possible ... with and for neurodivergent young people.
You're Not Alone
From crisis support to long-term mentoring, The Wild Ways delivers specialist neurodivergent-informed support that centres connection over correction, authenticity over conformity and celebrates every young person who’s ever felt like they were too much for the world.

The Beating Heart Team
What Makes The Wild Ways different?
We don’t fix children.
We don’t train parents.
We walk alongside. We sit with. We stay.
The Wild Ways is not a programme or a pathway. It’s a movement. A way of seeing neurodivergence that honours autonomy, connection, and co-regulation above compliance.
Across all our work, we refuse the notion that resilience is built by pushing children past their limits. We believe in safety, in nervous system-informed care, and in the radical idea that your child is not a problem to solve, but a person to understand.

Our Story
Rooted in Love. Guided by Suzan. Grown from lived experience.

The Wild Ways began as a whisper between parents who were told they were doing it all wrong. A spark of resis-tance. A call to trust our children-and ourselves-more deeply.

At its heart SUZAN. A mother, advocate, and quiet revolutionary who showed us that love can be both soft and strong. Her legacy lives on in every choice we make: to walk beside rather than lead, to listen instead of fix, to hold space instead of control.
We believe:
-
Autonomy is a birthright
-
Co-regulation creates safety
-
Children are whole as they are
-
Families deserve support, not scrutiny

Our mission is to walk with families raising neurodivergent children in a world not built for them. To create a community where curiosity replaces judgement, and where wildness is not just accepted, but celebrated.
We are not behaviourists. We are believers, in our children, in our instincts, in each other.
This is the story we’re telling. And it’s still being written.
What Families Are Saying
"Before Raising a Wild Child, we were in daily crisis. Now we feel connected, confident and less alone."
"This support changed everything. It made me understand my child - and myself - in a whole new way."
“The support our RAWC Associate offers is invaluable. The WhatsApp support in-between weekly sessions is so reassuring - even if we don't need to use it just knowing it's there offers peace of mind that help and support is available if we need it. I have never heard of any other service offering this.”
“Thank you for the training this morning, I have learned more from you than any other book or training session in the last 8 years. Not only for my future patients, but also for me and my family!”
"With her immense knowledge and experience, Suzan gives personal insight into neurodivergence and alchemises this into a compassionate and teachable philosophy with heaps of actionable strategies. It’s transformed our facilitators’ approach to groups with a huge positive impact on our girls."
"Things are really really good. Like we’ve turned a significant corner. She is back in school and it’s going well. Thank you for everything. There are a million other smaller wins, too many to mention but I wouldn’t be where we are today without you xxx"
